Forwarded from Texas Nationalist

With the on-going ‘Standoff at Eagle Pass’ solidifying the specter of Texan autonomy, it is important to pause in this exciting moment and assess Governor Greg Abbot’s foreign loyalties. In such a critical time as this, one would hope or expect their leader to be with them and have their best interests at heart. Yet during the initial phases of this border effort, Greg Abbot wasn’t even in Texas. He wasn’t in D.C. or even in Mexico. Abbot has instead been in India, lauding Texas’ achievements and infrastructure at the world’s burgeoning cheap labor market. Likewise, last year, Greg Abbot met with Benjamin Netanyahu to “vow” Texas’ “unwavering support'' to Israel. How can Texans ever consider (let alone right now) a foreign country's well being or partnership as something to put emphasis on when there are so many challenges to overcome domestically? One explanation is that during this election year, Greg Abbot is posturing as a ‘global figure’ and building his reputation internationally for some future political move. However, we must at every turn oppose the ‘globalization of Texas,’ especially in how we are instructed that it is good for us to share Israel’s interests, or in how it is fitting that our unique culture (and forests) be bulldozed by immigrants to make room for their own, and even more so in how the safety and prosperity of Texans are deemed less important than the interests of capitalists and politicians, who hold cheap labor and ethnic voting factions over Real Texans. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has recently stated that “only we [Jews] will defend ourselves by ourselves. Nobody will do it for us.” This completely ignores the history of the creation of the nation of Israel in the late-1940’s, which saw the World Zionist Congress, in tandem with the United Nations, force the resident Arabs off of their land in the wake of Western guilt over professed atrocities committed against Jews during World War II. Never mind that 22,000 Texans gave their lives in World War II, or that Texas currently has five Holocaust Memorials/Museums, or that public schools hammer "the Holocaust" into students while neglecting other real-world, current subjects. And never mind that the Hebrew Immigration Aid Society, (HIAS) which has helped coordinate the massive invasion of non-White immigrants into the United States, and which received almost $83 Million from the Federal Government has “decried” the decision to “block refugee settlement in Texas” in the wake of the Standoff at Eagle Pass. No -- none of this is enough for our ‘Greatest Ally’ according to Greg Abbot. Texas must further buy $20 Million dollars in Israeli bonds, ban products from Gaza, and command that Texan businesses pledge loyalty to Israel. With all of the issues we are facing in Texas today, one would hope our leadership would have more unwavering loyalty to Real Texans than to any foreign governments, let alone the war criminal state of Israel.
