1. In the 'Travel and Tourism Development Index' (TTDI) 2026 released by the World Economic Forum (WEF), India has reached the 31st position with a score of 4.42, while Japan has secured the top spot.

11. Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi inaugurated the 'Seva First Innovation Challenge', based on the resolution of a clean, healthy, and skilled India, for South Indian states at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru.
12. Kaivalya Vohra, co-founder of the quick-commerce company 'Zepto', topped the 2026 list of India's 10 youngest billionaires released by Hurun India.
13. The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has signed its first high-value deep-tech agreement under the TDF scheme with Rajasthan (Alwar) based 'Zero mK India Pvt Ltd' for the manufacturing of a cryogenic dilution refrigerator.
14. The 'BRICS Theatre Festival 2026' will be organized at the National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi, from 12 to 14 October 2026, with the theme "Building for Resilience, Innovation, Collaboration, and Sustainability".
