Report for August–September During these months, Solidarity Collectives spent around 29,000 euros on supporting anti-authoritarian combatants: technical and medical needs, medicines and protective equipment. Our work requires around 15,000 euros per month, so we urge you to continue sending regular donations. Separately, we have closed the fundraising campaign for a vehicle for combat medics. The search for a vehicle with the required specs is still ongoing. Once we have purchased it, we will certainly provide a report. Our FPV workshop, together with our Czech comrades from SoliDrones, sent 32 drones to the front line. They were sent to the unit where our comrade Haika served; who was killed on 1 October. In early October, our humanitarian group, together with activists from Dresden, carried out a humanitarian mission to the Kharkiv region. We urge other groups to get involved in such initiatives: to organise local fundraising campaigns and purchase essential items for internally displaced persons and frontline communities. We will also help organise such humanitarian trips, as well as help with logistics and delivery of aid to those in need. This is an opportunity to see the realities of war with your own eyes and to talk to locals. Throughout August and September, we also organised presentations and discussions, film screenings and merch sales in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Latvia, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Finland, France, the Czech Republic and Sweden. The media group also regularly works on interviews with fighters, memorial posts, announcements of events and fundraising. If you’d like to organise a film screening or discussion in your city, please DM us on Instagram or email us at [email protected].

Forwarded from Solidarity with Alexey Makarov / Солидарность с Алексеем Макаровым

Anarchist Alexey Makarov has been fighting the Russian regime for more than twenty years. His opposition activism led to imprisonment and forced him to leave Russia. In 2011, he was granted asylum in Sweden. When Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Alexey could not stand aside. In the summer of 2022, he left the safety of Sweden to fight for freedom and defend the people of Ukraine. He served in the 95th Air Assault Brigade, then in the International Legion and the Siberian Battalion. After sustaining two serious injuries, Alexey returned to Sweden to recover. There, he found that a country which publicly declares its support for the Ukrainian state also discriminates against and represses those who have defended the people of Ukraine. First, he was denied citizenship, then a new refugee travel document, effectively preventing him from leaving the country. These decisions were based on an assessment by the Swedish Security Service, Säpo, that he posed a “threat to national security.” Behind this wording lies his participation in the armed resistance to Russian aggression in Ukraine. Now he needs our support and help. This channel was created by Alexey’s friends and comrades. Here we will publish updates on his case, information about solidarity campaigns, and ways to get involved. For journalists and anyone interested in covering Alexey’s story: if you would like to interview him, you can contact him directly: - Phone: +46 72 043 94 03 - Signal: +380 95 636 97 16 Help spread the word - share posts from this channel and raise awareness of Alexey’s case.
