The Trump-linked X account @realtrumpcoins1 was hacked to orchestrate a $60 million rug pull involving a fake token called Trump Digital Gold ($GOLD). The official Trump Coins team issued a formal statement clarifying that they never authorized or promoted any digital tokens and are actively working with law enforcement authorities. The compromised account which sells official physical Trump medallions, has 42,300 followers, and is followed directly by Donald Trump posted that the Trump Foundation was backing a new Solana-based token.
