The Advance was aiming for a double digit opening but its limited release curtailed its potential. Several high-performing cinemas were playing only two or three shows a day, and with such limited showcasing, collections could only go so far.

Nathan Fillion revealed that the upcoming Man of Tomorrow will shift some of the focus from Superman to Lex Luthor.
“In the first movie, and quite rightly so, we learned a lot about who Superman is. In Man of Tomorrow, I think we’ll learn more about who Lex Luthor is. And that’s just as important.”
