Hamas movement on the third anniversary of Al-Aqsa Flood:
October 7, 2023, was an honorable historic milestone in our struggle, embodying heroism, steadfastness, and national unity, and making the voice of the Palestinian people heard around the world.
Our Palestinian people have demonstrated their steadfastness, their attachment to their land, and their rejection of displacement and ethnic cleansing projects.
Citizens’ return to their homes and the rubble of their neighborhoods affirms how deeply rooted they are in their land.
Al-Aqsa Flood came in response to decades of suffering from aggression, siege, killing, the deprivation of rights, and plans to Judaize the land and holy sites.
Attempts to portray the conflict as having begun on October 7 are a falsification of reality.
The enemy’s crimes over the three years have resulted in more than 74,000 martyrs, 175,000 wounded, and thousands missing. These crimes will not be subject to a statute of limitations.
The war of genocide continues through new methods. Since the ceasefire agreement took effect, the enemy has killed approximately 1,500 Palestinians and wounded more than 5,000, while aggression continues in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
Attacks by the occupation and settlers in Jerusalem and the West Bank include raids, arrests, home demolitions, and assaults on citizens, their property, and their land, as part of an effort aimed at displacement and imposing settlement facts on the ground.
