Libr8 News

⛑️ This week - Libr8 worked with HopeMedGaza to help 4 families prepare for winter. ♥️ This is a humble effort to protect families whose safety & dignity have been undermined. 🤔 These families are living in the remnants of tents, with little protection - facing a third winter of cruelty. 🌹 Thanks to our supporters, & thanks to HopeMedGaza for delivering this aid - we couldn’t do it without you! 🇵🇸 Please continue to stand with the charities and families we have verified in Gaza. ♾️ LIBR8.me

❤️The Sameer Project. Loses a Community Hero ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ With unbearable grief and disbelief, we mourn our beloved team member, Ihab “Omair” Abu Taqiya, who was murdered by the military occupation. Omair was a father to a young boy and a newborn baby girl. A husband, a son, a brother, a friend. He had been part of The Sameer Project family from the beginning. 💤When our camp was attacked by drones, Omair carried the most vulnerable to safety. When our beloved Mosab, his childhood friend, was martyred, Omair stepped forward to fill the enormous void he left behind, taking on the responsibility of coordinating our camp and southern operations. He was dependable, hardworking, and tireless. He often brought his little boy along to inspect our camp, and we all knew who the real boss was! 💤But Omair was so much more than the work he did. He was a steady presence in a world that had become anything but steady. A mentor to younger team members, his wife's rock, a loving father, a man whose kindness and respect for others will be remembered by everyone who met him. And he was martyred doing what he loved, serving his people. 💤Omair had just helped install a water well that would provide tens of thousands of liters of water daily to thousands of palestinians. He was driving away from this life sustaining work when the occupation murdered him. 🌹🕊A man who spent his days helping others survive was killed while doing just that. Below we have added the link to the Sameer Project, if you would like to honor Omair's efforts. The Sameer Project is one of our favorite places to donate. Check out the page of this worthy organization. https://linktr.ee/thesameerproject 🔥@theAxisofTruth

🇵🇸 Yahya, his wife, Nesma, & little Abdullah are a growing family in Gaza. 📆 In two months, they’ll welcome a baby girl with nothing prepared for her arrival, making them afraid for her future. 💦 Meanwhile, rain is pouring through the holes in their tent, leaving them exposed to the cold and wet. 🔗 We’ve created this support link to help them prepare for their daughter and keep little Abdullah fed. 🗝 Winter is here - please consider supporting them, even if all you can do is share their story! ♾ LIBR8.me
