📌 Vesu oracle incident triggers $3M in liquidations 🔖 Starknet lending protocol Vesu has reported that a faulty Pragma price feed triggered the abnormal liquidation of 47 positions holding $3 million in collateral on Sept. 4. Vesu said in a Sept. 5 incident disclosure that the liquidations occurred between 04:08 and 04:10 UTC on Sept. 4 after an upstream price source operated by Pragma supplied incorrect data. 📊 During the two-minute incident, the faulty prices reached several Vesu liquidity pools and made 47 borrowing positions appear eligible for liquidation. Automated liquidators then removed approximately $3 million in collateral before the feed returned to the correct value. According to the protocol, the price source corrected itself within two minutes and has operated normally since then. Vesu did not identify the affected assets or provide a pool-by-pool breakdown in its initial statement. 🔗 The company also did not disclose how far the incorrect prices differed from market rates, the amount of debt attached to the liquidated positions, or how much collateral liquidators retained. A technical report covering the incident is expected to provide more information about the affected markets and the sequence of on-chain transactions. Pragma has since worked with the relevant organizations to deploy a fix addressing the source of the error, Vesu said. Liquidity pool curators suspended affected pools as a precaution, with Vesu expecting them to remove the restrictions after reviewing the fix.

🔔 Nasdaq invests $100 million in Kraken parent Payward at $21 billion valuation ⚠️ Nasdaq has agreed to invest $100 million in Kraken parent Payward as the two companies expand their work on tokenized equities, market surveillance and blockchain-based settlement infrastructure. The companies are working toward a second-quarter 2027 launch for Nasdaq Equity Tokens, or NETs, while Payward will deploy Nasdaq’s market surveillance technology across trading venues covering crypto, equities, tokenized equities, futures and options. 🔖 The investment builds on a partnership announced in March, when Nasdaq and Payward began developing infrastructure designed to connect regulated equity markets with blockchain networks through Payward’s xStocks ecosystem. Nasdaq Ventures invests in technology and market infrastructure that the exchange operator sees as relevant to the development of global capital markets. Its $100 million Payward investment gives the relationship a financial component alongside the companies’ existing technology work. 📊 Payward confidentially submitted a draft S-1 registration statement to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in November 2025. The company has not publicly disclosed a proposed ticker, share price, number of shares or exchange for a potential listing. Its latest financial results showed adjusted revenue of $508 million for the second quarter, up 17% from a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA fell to $23 million from $80 million, while total platform transaction volume declined 18% to $310 billion.

➡️ ZETA Solana migration wins 99.4% support in vote 🔖 ZetaChain has moved closer to approving a plan that would migrate its native ZETA token to Solana and eventually shut down its own Layer 1, with 99.4% of votes supporting Proposal 68 ahead of its Sept. 20 deadline. ZetaHub’s live governance tally showed 58% participation, clearing the 40% quorum requirement, with 0.3% voting against and 0.3% abstaining. Voting is scheduled to close at 14:58:18 UTC on Sept. 20, after a standard 72-hour voting period. 📣 Proposal 68 would establish Solana as ZETA’s canonical network after migration. ZETA would become a native SPL token while retaining its existing ticker and total token supply. Each holder would receive an equivalent amount of ZETA on Solana through a 1:1 conversion. One technical adjustment involves decimals. Native ZETA currently uses 18 decimal places, while the proposed Solana token would use nine. Proposal 68 says balances would convert from 18 to nine decimals and any amount below the supported precision would be rounded down. ⭐️ Existing vesting schedules would continue through their original dates. The project says no new tokens would be created, while each address would receive its corresponding balance based on the final migration snapshot. The project ruled out maintaining the new Solana asset as a wrapped representation backed by tokens locked permanently on ZetaChain. Its proposal states that a bridge would depend on the original chain continuing to operate, while the current plan eventually shuts that chain down.

WhiteBIT Coin (WBT) Hits New All-Time High Above $86 📈 WhiteBIT Coin (WBT), the native coin of the WhiteBIT exchange, has reached a new all-time high of about $86. That is 18% above its previous record of $73 in August and more than 50 times its 2022 debut price of $1.62. WBT's market capitalization stands at $10.3 billion, with $180 million traded over the past 24 hours. 🌊 The move comes as the wider market climbs. Total crypto market capitalization is around $2.9 trillion, and Bitcoin is trading near $85,000 after closing last week above its 50-week moving average for the first time in 45 weeks. ⚙️ WBT is the coin that powers the WhiteBIT ecosystem, and holding it comes with practical benefits. Users who hold and stake WBT on the exchange get lower trading fees (up to 100% off maker fees, the fees charged on limit orders, depending on the holding level), free daily withdrawals of ETH and ERC-20 tokens, staking rewards, higher referral rewards and access to Launchpad, where new projects offer their tokens to users. WBT is also the native coin of Whitechain, WhiteBIT's blockchain, where it is used to pay for transactions. 🏛 WBT has also gained recognition from traditional finance. In 2025 it was added to five S&P Dow Jones Indices cryptocurrency benchmarks, including the S&P Cryptocurrency Broad Digital Market Index, institutional-grade indices that track the performance of the digital asset market. 🔥 WBT's supply is shrinking. WhiteBIT regularly burns WBT, which means coins are permanently removed from circulation and destroyed. The burns are funded by 33% of the exchange's trading-fee income and 5% of its income from other activities. The full supply was unlocked in 2026, so no new coins will be released, and the total supply has already fallen from 400 million to about 293.5 million WBT. The burns continue until 200 million remain.

⚠️ Vitalik Buterin says Ethereum is becoming a cryptographic world computer 🔖 Ethereum has begun moving toward what Vitalik Buterin calls a “cryptographic world computer,” with major changes planned to verification, consensus, privacy and state management after Hegotá. He expects future Ethereum architecture to combine blockchain consensus with zero-knowledge proofs, data sampling, privacy technology and decentralized off-chain computation. 📣 “Hegota — the fork planned for next year — is likely to be Ethereum’s last ‘normal’ fork,” Buterin wrote, referring to an upgrade whose technology would remain recognizable to developers familiar with Ethereum in 2015. The Hegotá upgrade remains in planning, and its complete scope has not been finalized. Two proposals are already scheduled. Frame Transactions, or EIP-8141, is the second scheduled feature. It lets Ethereum accounts decide how their transactions are authorized instead of requiring the same fixed signature structure for every user. 📊 One of the largest changes concerns how network participants verify blocks. Traditional blockchain verification requires nodes to download blockchain data and execute transactions themselves. Buterin expects Ethereum to rely increasingly on SNARK verification and PeerDAS data sampling. His comparison of blockchain designs describes the transition as moving from “full re-download and recompute” toward “SNARK verification + PeerDAS for data availability.”

⚡️ Bitcoin Forecasting: Accurate Range Calls Can Pay Out at 5X or More 💸 Most traders only profit when Bitcoin makes a decisive move in one direction. Glimpse works differently — instead of buying or shorting, you forecast the price range Bitcoin will trade in. The more accurate and precise your forecast, the higher the potential payout, with some markets offering 5X+ odds on a correct call. 🔖 That structure changes the incentive entirely. A tighter, more precise range means a bigger payout if you get it right, and the mechanism works whether Bitcoin is climbing, falling, or stuck in a narrow band — there's a forecast for every scenario, not just breakouts. 🌐 Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and Gold markets are all live now. Deposits and withdrawals run on Lightning, so payouts land fast, and Glimpse is licensed by the Bermuda Monetary Authority under the Digital Asset Business Act — positioning it as compliance-first as forecasting markets move into the mainstream. 🔗 glimpse.trading
