During the Vietnam War, the U.S. military recruited Native American trackers and scouts. According to the story, something extraordinary began to happen. The talents and abilities these men had demonstrated on their reservations seemed to mysteriously disappear, as one recruit after another failed to achieve the expected results in the field. When asked to explain their failures, the older recruits consistently replied that they could no longer sense the presence of the enemy once their hair had been cut in accordance with military regulations. They could no longer rely on their sixth sense. Their intuition was no longer dependable, and they had lost much of their ability to interpret subtle signs in their surroundings. According to certain Native American beliefs, hair is an extension of the nervous system — a kind of highly developed sensory apparatus or antenna capable of transmitting vast amounts of important information to the brainstem, the limbic system, and the neocortex. In ancient times, people wore their hair long. *Found on the Internet.* @OnlyFaithOverFear

THE FORGOTTEN BEAUTY OF A KISS ON THE FOREHEAD At some point, I feel we have forgotten just how sacred and wonderful a simple kiss can be. Throughout history, kisses have carried powerful meanings. From the spiritual symbolism surrounding Jesus and Mary Magdalene to Judas's kiss of betrayal, a kiss has represented everything from love and devotion to suffering. But there is something particularly beautiful about a kiss on the forehead. In spiritual traditions, the forehead is associated with the third eye, the center of intuition, wisdom, and inner knowledge. Kissing someone on the forehead means saying, without uttering a single word, "I see you... I care about you. You are safe with me." It is not about passion or possession. It is about tenderness, respect, protection, and a love that goes beyond the physical... Sometimes, the gentlest gestures speak the loudest. Never underestimate the magic of a kiss on the forehead. — Meg Wildstar @OnlyFaithOverFear

To those who are walking through their own darkness, I say only this: have courage. You must grit your teeth and wait for the sun to shine again. To those who are walking through their own darkness, I say only this: believe in the eyes of those who have already found their way back. There is a sky on this side, waiting for you, with a landscape of dreams that will take your breath away..... — Andrew Faber ❤️‍🔥 @OnlyFaithOverFear

In Japan, a new kind of gathering has apparently emerged for people over 30. Dimmed lights, soft ambient music, and people coming together to read the same book. Who would have thought that, with age, good literature might become the main attraction at a party? 🎧📚🤷‍♀ @OnlyFaithOverFear

“You ask me about healing. What is it? It is embracing the mystery of one’s own condition, whatever it may be. It is accepting fear and, with a sword in hand, smiling at it. It is feeling time pass through us, knowing that it cannot contain us, for we are the vastness through which it travels. And then. To laugh. And to laugh again. Fearlessly. This is healing, the kind that demons fear.” — A. Maini @OnlyFaithOverFear

“I am lucky to have you.” But perhaps there is something far greater than luck in the people we encounter throughout our lives. Of all the people in this world, of all the paths we could have taken and all the lives we might have lived, somehow, against countless possibilities, our paths crossed. Have you ever stopped to consider how extraordinary that is? Some people walk beside us for years. Others remain for only a moment. Some bring love and understanding, while others leave us with difficult questions, disappointment, or lessons we never expected to learn. Not everyone is meant to stay. Yet every encounter can leave something within us, changing the way we see ourselves, others, and the world. Perhaps the true value of meeting someone is not measured by how long they remain in our lives, but by what their presence awakens in us. We are constantly crossing paths, sharing fragments of our stories, sometimes without realizing how deeply we may influence one another. And perhaps we should remember that while others become part of our story, we also become part of theirs. So let us be more mindful of how we treat those who cross our path. We may never fully understand what our presence means to another human being. To everyone whose path has crossed mine, whether you are still beside me or life has taken us in different directions, thank you. You have all, in ways both visible and unseen, become part of my story. And for that, I am deeply grateful. I love you all dearly. — Niko @OnlyFaithOverFear

“The dogmas imposed by our society and the psychological pressures exerted by the media have a single objective: to keep the average person in a state of automatic functioning, preventing them from establishing an authentic connection with themselves.” — Eduardo Muscara @OnlyFaithOverFear

There are moments when the entire history of a life shared together exists only in the memory of one being. And it is precisely then that the responsibility for preserving that history becomes greatest.❤️ @OnlyFaithOverFear

“Why do I love animals? Because I am one of them. Because I am the indecipherable code of the grass, the panic of the fleeing deer, I am your vast ocean, and I am the smallest of insects. And I know all your creatures: they are perfect in this love that runs across the earth to reach you.” — Alda Merini, The Carnival of the Cross @OnlyFaithOverFear

Two Watches One Sunday morning, an elderly gentleman walked into a small bakery wearing two watches — a silver one on his left wrist and a gold one on his right. The woman behind the counter, who had known him for years, finally asked: “Mr. Lehmann, why do you wear two watches?” “Because three would be excessive,” he replied with a grin. She laughed. “No, seriously!” He pointed to the silver watch. “This one tells me what time it is. The gold one reminds me of a moment I never want to forget.” He paused. “Twelve years ago, at exactly 4:42 p.m., my wife asked me to marry her.” “She proposed to you?” the woman asked, surprised. “Yes! She was tired of waiting for me!” They both laughed. Then his expression softened. “My wife passed away three years ago. But whenever I look at this watch, which has been stopped at 4:42 ever since, I'm back in our kitchen with her, reliving that moment.” The woman fell silent. The old man picked up his bag of bread rolls, smiled, and said: “One watch tells me how time passes. The other reminds me of what made that time worth living.” @OnlyFaithOverFear

Everything you desire in life is possible. But first, you must let go of doubt, the fear of not having enough, and the belief that you are somehow undeserving. All that remains is to allow yourself to embrace the unknown. To see what is new not as a threat, but as an opportunity. An opportunity for what? Well… that depends on what you truly desire. 🔥 @OnlyFaithOverFear
