🇨🇳‼️🇹🇼— ⭐️ Rybar Asia: "Rattling Hardware: what is happening near the island of contention? A decrease in the number of Chinese naval vessels around Taiwan does not necessarily mean a reduction in pressure. Between September and October, the nature of this pressure shifted: while the average number of sorties by Chinese aircraft toward the island increased, the number of naval ships declined. Conversely, the China Coast Guard—viewed by Beijing as a primary instrument for projecting influence near Taiwan—has become more active. A significant trend is the expansion of operations to the east of the island, an area that encompasses vital supply routes and potential corridors for the arrival of external aid. The China Coast Guard has reported conducting "law enforcement patrols" in these waters. Meanwhile, Taipei has accused China of causing radio interference for passing vessels. Simultaneously, Chinese research vessels are gathering data on the seabed—information that could prove valuable for underwater operations. 🖍Around islands under Taiwanese control, the pressure is built on repetition: Chinese vessels approach, while Taiwanese patrol craft shadow them and issue warnings. The strategy here is to stretch the opponent’s resources; even in the absence of actual gunfire, this forces Taiwan to keep its military hardware on constant alert. 📌Taiwan’s response goes beyond patrols; it also involves demonstrating readiness for a potential conflict. This includes military exercises—such as those in September, which integrated air defense systems, anti-ship missile batteries, HIMARS, and attack drones. The focus is shifting toward whether these units can sustain joint operations over time, rather than merely demonstrating a successful launch. ❗️Therefore, it would be inaccurate to characterize the situation as either a lull or a straightforward, across-the-board escalation of Chinese military activity. Beijing is systematically broadening its toolkit for exerting pressure and challenging control over the maritime domain, while Taiwan is forced to simultaneously maintain routine patrols and prepare for a more severe crisis. 🇰🇵❌🇰🇷— ⭐️ Rybar Asia: "A Real-Life Shooter? On the Tense Situation Along the Inter-Korean Border Is the lull on the Korean Peninsula coming to an end? Over the past few weeks, a series of incidents in the region has only served to escalate tensions—and it appears that neither side has any intention of slowing down. The groundwork for the current situation was laid several years ago. Pyongyang has officially adopted a policy of designating its southern neighbor as a hostile state; the very idea of a unified Korea is now off the table. To implement this policy, they have begun fortifying the border for defensive purposes. Construction work is still underway, but it has not been without incident. In late September, South Korean soldiers were injured by a North Korean landmine—likely one planted as part of these border-fortification efforts. Pyongyang, naturally, denies everything; anticipating a retaliatory response from Seoul, they are now engaging in a show of force. 🖍In the wake of this incident, South Korea may well step up patrols along the border, potentially disrupting the North’s ongoing work. Pyongyang has opted for a preemptive move: they have demonstratively deployed artillery closer to the border and announced plans to use loudspeakers for psychological operations against South Korean border guards. 📌Adding an ironic twist to these events is a curious coincidence: the recent release of a new Call of Duty game, which depicts a North Korean invasion of South Korea. Some activists have criticized the game for stoking hatred during such a volatile period. Others, however, have suggested that the current administration in Seoul should play it—after all, it serves as a stark reminder of why maintaining military readiness is so crucial. ❗️Fortunately, the scenario of this "new game" is not currently playing out in reality, and the overall situation is far from such a development. These measures are largely demonstrative in nature and are intended to deter a potential adversary. As things stand, there are no indications of a major war breaking out on the Korean Peninsula. 🇺🇦❌🇷🇺 — ✍️ ARKHANGEL SPETSNAZA: "124 Drones Target Yaroslavl After several days of attacks in the Volga and Ural regions, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are now concentrating their efforts on the western part of Russia, and today, the Yaroslavl region came under attack, with over 100 drones detected. According to the governor, during the night, electronic warfare and air defense units repelled a large-scale attack by enemy drones on a refinery in Yaroslavl. A total of 124 drones were involved.   There is damage to the refinery's infrastructure. Security services are working to extinguish the fires. Two employees of the plant were injured by shrapnel and have been hospitalized.   ▪️Footage of the fires is already circulating online – a special thank you to the citizens who continue to film each impact from different angles, even towards the end of 2026. Is it stupidity or deliberate collaboration with the enemy? The drones were flying from the Bryansk and Smolensk regions along two routes: through the Tver region and over the southern part of the Novgorod region. ▪️Drones were also shot down in the direction of the capital: Sobyanin stated that between 20:30 on November 2nd and 07:30 on November 3rd, 493 drones were flying towards the Moscow region. Most of them were destroyed by the Ministry of Defense's air defense system at a long distance. 187 drones were neutralized as they approached Moscow. Another target of the attack was Crimea, where an attack on a high-voltage power line caused disruptions to the electricity supply. Sevastopol has essentially been in a blackout since 3 am." 🔗 Source:
