TEDDIE TALKS: RM 🩸🩸 One pink bear. One legendary artist. A lil trip inside the creative mind. 🍬 #teddie: RM, my brother. Thanks for joining Teddie Talks. Pepe Vampire has taken on a life of his own since you created him. What was the original inspiration for the character? 🩸 #RM: Thanks for having me! I made a sticker pack featuring the Boys Club characters a while back. I guess that’s why I was later asked to create a vampire version of Pepe for Halloween. That’s how Pepe Vampire was born. 🍬 #teddie: What has inspired you to revisit the Pepe Vampire and create this new Halloween collection? 🩸 #RM: I’d been wanting to bring the character to life through short comics for a while, and recently started doing that on my channel. I know there’s a memecoin and a community around it based on Pepe Vampire. I’ve joined their chat and I’m curious to see where they take it. Part of what got me excited about making this pack was the idea of doing something fun for those guys too. 🍬 #teddie: What’s the story behind the new designs? Any hidden lore, personal references or Easter eggs? 👀 🩸 #RM: Mostly memes and humor, as usual. But one of the stickers features my cat 😼🐈‍⬛ 🍬 #teddie: I saw that you recently created some Resistance Dog gifts, what’s the process behind the scenes for designing gifts and being chosen? 🩸 #RM: There are already quite a few gifts out there, and now we’re working on skin collections for them. The process is pretty straightforward: artists pitch their ideas and designs, and the team in charge decides which ones get the green light. 🍬 #teddie: You’ve created some legendary characters. How do you think about developing them into bigger IPs and experiences? 🩸 #RM: Well, I wouldn’t say I created all those characters. My Boys Club stickers, for example, were more of a tribute to Matt Furie’s original work. As for Pepe Vampire, I’d definitely like to keep developing him, and I’m interested in exploring new formats. 🍬 #teddie: Last one king… We’d like to see sticker IP make its way into Telegram gaming.
