⛏️ Посеред пустелі Невади стоять руїни банку і школи, старий вокзал та порожні вулиці міста, яке виросло майже за одну ніч. Райоліт виник після відкриття золота поблизу у 1904 році. Уже за кілька років тут діяли водогін, електрика, телефон, банки та близько 50 салунів. Населення міста на піку оцінюють у 5–8 тисяч людей. Фінансова криза 1907 року зупинила приплив інвестицій, а копальні почали закриватися. У 1911 році припинила роботу головна шахта, а 1916 року в місті вимкнули електрику.
