As painful as it is to say this, it’s a lesson for those who voted, too. No matter who wins, these systems keep serving themselves. The faces change, the promises change, but humanity is still asked to surrender its energy and wait for someone else to deliver salvation. “Go vote” becomes a spell: a repeated command to place your faith, attention, and power outside yourself. We keep being told these systems need us while being taught we cannot exist without them. I see Trump as a catalyst for awakening. But part of that awakening is realizing that even the person who shakes the system cannot become the person you surrender your sovereignty to. If questioning authority ends where your loyalty begins, how free are you? Discovering true sovereignty means recognizing that your conscience, discernment, and power belong to you. No leader can grant you what you must learn to embody. I believe a major shift for humanity is on the horizon. We can direct our energy toward building communities, sustaining one another, and creating something beyond this cycle. Even our disillusionment can become a doorway, if it leads us back to our own responsibility and power.
