Over the last 24 hours since yesterday's massive Russian combined missile attack on Ukrainian energy infrastructure, Russia has been carrying out another large-scale attack on Ukraine's power grid using over 400 Geran-2/Gerbera drones, Geran-4/5 jet-drones, and S8000 Banderol cruise missiles. The primary target was energy infrastructure, however railway infrastructure and other targets were also hit. Compared to previous attacks over the last few days, Russia shifted their focus back to the surroundings of Kyiv and intensified their strikes on Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv Oblasts. Port infrastructure in Odesa Oblast continued to be struck, and in western Ukraine, thefocus of attacks was shifted from the southwestern regions back to the northwestern regions. During this 24 hour period, explosions were heard in/near the following locations: - Kovel, Volyn Oblast - Kvasyliv, Rivne Oblast - Porubka, Rivne Oblast - Sarny, Rivne Oblast - Rivne City - Velyka Berezovytsia, Ternopil Oblast - Bilohir'ya, Khmelnytskyi Oblast - Stara Syniava, Khmelnytskyi Oblast - Haisyn, Vinnytsia Oblast - Tyvriv, Vinnytsia Oblast - Vinnytsia City - Chyzhivka, Zhytomyr Oblast - Zviahel, Zhytomyr Oblast - Ozerne, Zhytomyr Oblast - Zhytomyr City - Nalyvaikivka, Kyiv Oblast - Boyarka, Kyiv Oblast - Vasylkiv, Kyiv Oblast - Obukhiv, Kyiv Oblast - Brovary, Kyiv Oblast - Bila Tserkva, Kyiv Oblast - Trebukhiv, Kyiv Oblast - Boryspil, Kyiv Oblast - Multiple different districts of Kyiv City - Desna, Chernihiv Oblast - Nizhyn, Chernihiv Oblast - Myrovychi, Cherkasy Oblast - Cherkasy City - Oleksandriya, Kirovohrad Oblast - Kropyvnytskyi, Kirovohrad Oblast - Mali Budyshcha, Poltava Oblast - Kremenchuk, Poltava Oblast - Poltava City - Kiliya, Odesa Oblast - Chornomorsk, Odesa Oblast - Usatove, Odesa Oblast - Mayaky, Odesa Oblast - Odesa City - Mykolaiv City - Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast - Samar, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast - Dnipro, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast - Synelnykove, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast - Voskresenivka, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast - Mykolaivka, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast - Bohynivka, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast - Vilnyansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast - Zaporizhzhia City - Slobozhanske, Kharkiv Oblast - Barvinkove, Kharkiv Oblast - Lozova, Kharkiv Oblast - Izyum, Kharkiv Oblast - Shostka, Sumy Oblast

In addition to Russia's massive missile and drone attack on energy infrastructure across Ukraine, at least 17 Geran-2 drones attacked the Vylkove and Izmail Ports along the Danube River in southern Odesa Oblast. Prior to this, the Zatoka Bridge was attacked by 2-3 UMPB-5 jet-powered glide-bombs, 2 Kh-59/69 cruise missiles, and approximately 7 S8000 Banderol cruise missiles.

They flew past Izyum towards the Dnipropetrovsk-Poltava regional border. ~10 missiles in total

4 groups of Kh-101 cruise missiles launched by a single Tu-160 are entering Ukrainian airspace via Luhansk Oblast, flying past Kharkiv Oblast.

More than 200,000 residents of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast have been left without power following Russia's massive missile and drone attack on energy infrastructure in the region. At least 25 missiles of various types (Kh-101, Iskander-M, and Kn-23) struck the Prydniprovsky and Kryvyi Rih Thermal Power Plants in Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih. The vast majority (~21) struck the Prydniprovsky TPP.

A large fire is burning at the Prydniprovska Thermal Power Plant in Dnipro following dozens of Russian missile strikes. Approximately 11 Kh-101 cruise missiles, 6 Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 4 Kn-23 ballistic missiles struck the plant, causing serious damage. 2 of the Kh-101s were equipped with cluster warheads.

More impacts to the Ladyzhyn TPP. 3-4 missiles remain.

More interceptions near Uman, Cherkasy Oblast. A large group of Ukrainian fighter jets is operating east of the power plant, attempting to protect it.

Locations of the 6 different power plants hit by Russian missiles so far tonight: The Kaniv Hydroelectric Power Plant in Kaniv, Cherkasy Oblast, was struck by ~2 Iskander-M ballistic missiles. The Zmiivska Thermal Power Plant in Slobozhanske, Kharkiv Oblast, was struck by ~5 Iskander-M ballistic missiles. The TEC-5 Thermal Power Plant in Kharkiv City was struck by ~4 Iskander-M ballistic missiles and ~6 KAB glide-bombs. The Prydniprovska Thermal Power Plant in Dnipro was struck by as many as 6 Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 4 Kn-23 ballistic missiles. The Kryvyi Rih Thermal Power Plant in Zelenodolsk, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, was struck by ~2 Iskander-M ballistic missiles. The Ladyzhyn Thermal Power Plant in Ladyzhyn, Vinnytsia Oblast, was struck by ~4 Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles. These power plants + additional ones in western Ukraine are expected to be targeted by up to 70 Russian Kh-101 cruise missiles over the next 2 hours.

The first 2-3 Russian Tu-160M strategic have launched 24-36 Kh-101 cruise missiles from Orenburg Oblast. In total, between 50 and 60 Kh-101s are expected to be launched from the 5 Tu-160s airborne. They should enter Ukrainian airspace in around 2 hours. The separate Kh-101s launched by ~6 out of 10 Tu-95MS strategic bombers over Vologda Oblast are expected to enter Ukrainian airspace in the next 50-60 minutes. As I stated yesterday, these missiles will likely target energy infrastructure in western Ukraine, especially in Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, and Chernivtsi Oblasts.

The first groups of Kh-101 cruise missiles are expected to enter Ukrainian airspace in the next hour.

Explosions in Kharkiv

Some of the Tu-95MS strategic bombers have conducted launch maneuvers from western Vologda Oblast. If the launches were real and not simulated, then we should expect to see Kh-101 cruise missiles enter Ukrainian airspace in around 100 minutes. Not all of the Tu-95MS have launched yet, and not all 10 are expected to launch missiles. The 5 Tu-160M strategic bombers are expected to carry out launch maneuvers soon too. They will launch the majority of the Kh-101s used in this attack (at least 50).
