🚫 CLAIM: Iran’s foreign minister recently claimed publicly that Iran has not attacked civilians in neighboring countries. This is FALSE. ✅ FACT: Iran has not only intentionally attacked civilian infrastructure, neighborhoods, and other facilities in neighboring Gulf countries, but it has also deliberately attacked civilian mariners at sea — killing more than 20 in recent months. Iran’s indiscriminate aggression is clearly evident and inexcusable. @U_S_CENTCOM

A U.S. Navy MH-60R Sea Hawk takes off from the flight deck of USS George Washington (CVN 73) as the aircraft carrier supports enforcement of America’s ironclad blockade against Iran. As of Oct. 31, U.S. forces have redirected 144 commercial vessels to ensure compliance. @U_S_CENTCOM

🚫 CLAIM: Over recent days and weeks, Iranian-controlled media have reported Iranian claims that commercial vessels are hitting sea mines while transiting the Strait of Hormuz. These claims are FALSE. ✅ FACT: All internationally recognized primary transit routes through the Strait of Hormuz have been cleared of sea mines by U.S. forces and remain so. Thousands of commercial vessels have safely used the transit lanes and continue today. @U_S_CENTCOM

🚫 CLAIM: The navy commander for Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps recently claimed that U.S. forces have abandoned the Strait of Hormuz by moving hundreds of "kilometers" away. This is FALSE. ✅ FACT: U.S. forces deployed to the Middle East remain present and vigilant in the Strait of Hormuz and surrounding waters, as demonstrated by the CENTCOM commander this weekend. U.S. forces and regional partners control the international waterway — clearly not Iran. @U_S_CENTCOM
