✈️ A US-registered NATO reconnaissance aircraft flew around Russia’s Kaliningrad Region for the second time since the beginning of this week, a source in air traffic control services told TASS. The source recalled that last Monday, the aircraft spent more than four hours near the Kaliningrad Region, while the previous day it flew over the southern part of the Black Sea for nine hours.

NATO does not rule out strikes on Russia under the alliance’s updated defense strategy, The Wall Street Journal reported. The new concept reportedly envisages not only firing on troops that might cross borders, but also striking military bases, supply depots, and industrial facilities behind the front lines, on Russian territory. Moscow has repeatedly rejected allegations that Russia allegedly “plans” to “attack” NATO countries.

The Hungarian government may completely halt purchases of Russian gas, the country’s Foreign Minister Anita Orban said. “The European Union has set a clear deadline for phasing out Russian natural gas – fall 2027,” the foreign minister said in an interview with the online news outlet Telex.
