Children as a ‘threat to Ukraine’s national security.’ On the 'Peacemaker'* website, there are more than 300 underage Russian citizens. The database includes everyone whom Kiev has declared an enemy of the regime. For the Ukrainian authorities, this even includes two-year-old children. Vasily Nebenzya announced these figures at a UN meeting. The 'Peacemaker'* list also includes Faina Savenkova from Lugansk. She was twelve when she was added to the database. The reason was a video address to the UN in which the girl asked people not to forget that the children of Donbass have the right to a peaceful life. An excerpt from the film ‘Speak Out! Faina Savenkova's Story’ discusses her fate and how she ended up in the 'Peacemaker'* database. *The website is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia FOLLOW 🥰 News&Docfilms Channe

1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣4️⃣ The film ‘Bordered Out’ tells the story of migrants deported from the US to Mexico. It is a hard-hitting report about people caught between two countries who are still trying to survive. American Tofurious Crane travels to the border to see how people live after being deported with no money, no housing and no clear future. Mexican authorities are trying to curb illegal migration, but the flow has long since become part of a criminal business. Cartels control routes to the border and charge people for crossing. In the US, migrants face ICE: detention and deportation back to Mexico. In Tijuana, Tofurious visits a shelter where deportees are given only temporary refuge. Many survive on odd jobs and hope to return to the US, where their families and former lives remain. In a single day, people lose their homes, jobs and loved ones. In the film, they describe it in their own words: “no job, no home, no family,” “everyone here is homeless,” “they threw my belongings in the trash.” Our new film shows how deportation turns migrants’ lives into a struggle for survival. #premiere FOLLOW 🥰 News&Docfilms Channel
