Sometimes I think back to 2019 and it really does feel like it was the last “normal” year we knew. Since then, it’s as if we’ve slipped into some kind of alternate reality, one where everything is upside down, logic no longer applies, and the familiar ground beneath our feet has been pulled away. The illusion of “normal” had to shatter so that the truth could be revealed. What we are experiencing is not just chaos, but the dismantling of a false system that kept us complacent. 2019 wasn’t the end of normal, it was the end of the illusion, we are now moving forward into something truer, freer, and greater than what we left behind.
