Bank of America Vice President Erin Piacenti was tragically killed in a random, unprovoked double-stabbing in New York City’s Times Square. The assault occurred around 4:24 p.m. near West 42nd Street and Seventh Avenue, a short distance from the Bank of America tower at One Bryant Park. The assailant pulled two large kitchen knives from a bag, first stabbing an unnamed 68-year-old man in the abdomen before stabbing 32-year-old Piacenti. Piacenti was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where she succumbed to multiple stab wounds. The 68-year-old male victim survived and was reported in stable condition.
