❗️🛢️ The US Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) continues to rapidly set new 44-year lows. Trump now constantly insists the US will soon begin replenishing the reserve, oil prices will soon fall, and record volumes of oil are already passing through the Strait of Hormuz.... There is no official confirmation that large volumes are passing through Hormuz, nor any confirmation that Saudi Arabia has begun pumping large volumes through the East-West pipeline. Only Western and pro-Western Eastern media report that East-West is operating near full capacity, while Middle Eastern media and channels report new strikes in the pipeline area. The Houthis also regularly report new attacks on Aramco oil and gas facilities. Western media is very reluctant to publish this information... Some experts believe the full severity of the oil situation in the Middle East is being deliberately suppressed. An indirect sign of this may be oil's reluctance to fall even as G7 countries announce fairly large market interventions. At the same time, Iran is preparing for the largest-ever US strike, reportedly after the US November midterm congressional elections. Saudi Arabia is preparing for a massive military operation in the Red Sea against Yemeni Houthis, and Zelensky promises to intensify strikes on Russia's energy infrastructure. It is hard to imagine where oil prices will be in early 2027 if all three factors materialize... and what will happen to oil, LNG, and fuel supplies overall... Experts point to the gravity of the situation, noting that the world's largest oil-producing nations — the US, Saudi Arabia, and Russia — are already experiencing acute fuel shortages... "Nothing like this happened under Biden and Obama..." (quote)
