CGL 2026 PRE - 30 Sep Shift 3 EXAM LEVEL REVIEW 🔺 MATHS 🟥 Moderate to Tough for Freshers 🟦 Moderate for Repeaters Some Questions were of Good Level and could feel Time Taking. 2024 Pattern/PYQs had a clear influence. Concepts were familiar, but Question Presentation & Calculation made the section comparatively tougher. Some questions of DI/Statistics were asked. Advance maths looked lengthy. 🔺 REASONING 🟩 Easy to Mod for Repeaters 🟩 Mod for Freshers 4-5 Ques were from analytical reasoning. Some Questions required a little more observation/time than usual. Overall, nothing significantly difficult was reported. 🔺 ENGLISH 🟦 Hard for Freshers 🟩 Mod to Hard for Repeaters Section was reported to be slightly Lengthy. Voice Narration and Errors were of good length and required careful reading. Overall, it was Harder than usual PYQs (JUST LIKE PROMOCKS 🔥) 🔺 GS 🟦 Moderate for Repeaters 🟥 Mod to Hard for Freshers 🛑 Around 3-4 Ques of Current Affairs. A mix of Direct + Statement Based Questions was reported. Option elimination was working and PYQ influence was visible. For well-prepared Repeaters, the section was manageable. 🔺 OVERALL LEVEL 🟥 Moderate to Tough for Freshers 🟦 Moderate for Repeaters Maths & English were comparatively more time- consuming section in this shift. If your shift is coming up, DON’T PANIC. Focus on Question Selection, especially in Maths. Don’t waste your First Round on lengthy or calculative Questions & try to be fast in English Reading.
