๐ค S&P Global acquires crypto security giant. The company has reached an agreement to acquire OpenZeppelin, whose solutions are used to protect major stablecoins, tokenized funds, and DeFi protocols. More than $37T has flowed through the infrastructure based on OpenZeppelin Contracts, and the company has conducted over 900 audits, discovering more than 10,000 vulnerabilities before product launches. S&P Global plans to use OpenZeppelin's technology to assess risks in smart contracts and other on-chain infrastructure as traditional finance moves onto the blockchain.
